Obituary of Marilyn A Tirelli

Marilyn Arlene Tirelli (nee Serrian), 68, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in the Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Marilyn was born June 2, 1947 in Vineland, and was raised in Richland. She was a graduate of the Vineland High School Class of 1965. While many may remember her working in and around the Vineland area as a consultant for Home Interiors and Weight Watchers, Marilyn was best known as a self-employed folk artist. For many years, she and husband Tony spent countless weekends attending craft fairs and art shows, and later she took her business online and throughout the world. Her art can be found as far away as Canada and Australia. She was also a homemaker, passionately caring for her herb and flower gardens, and her beloved hummingbirds. Marilyn loved her pets, and thoughtfully cared for her backyard wildlife as well. She was an avid reader, loved the beach and the ocean, and enjoyed many family trips to Wildwood. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, John and Grace (Miller) Serrian, and her father and mother in-law, Arthur and Pauline (Giglio) Tirelli. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Anthony A. Tirelli; her sons, Anthony (Kellie) Tirelli of Pittsgrove, Kevin (Gina) Tirelli of Millville; grandchildren; Kassidy, Artie and Aly Tirelli, and Samantha Morris and great-grandchildren, Giana Vertolli and Julian Robbins; Sister, Elaine (Larry) Davis of Vineland; Brother, John Serrian of Naples, FL, and Aunt, Joan Miller of Richland. In addition to her family, she is survived by many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Marilyn will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends making a donation to the Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360 or to the charity of your choice.
