Obituary of Reba Ojeda-Vega

Reba “Honey” Elizabeth Ojeda-Vega, 83, of Vineland passed away Tuesday morning January 5, 2016 after a long term illness. Honey was born in the Fordville section of Fairfield Township. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Eleanor Pierce and was raised by her Aunt and Uncle Vernon and Catherine Pierce. A resident of Vineland since 1956, she worked at Progresso Foods Company for many years. She left her work outside the home to dedicate her time to her loving children and family. Honey enjoyed listening to country music, joking and passing her time laughing while reminiscing of past life stories with family and friends. Reba “Honey” is predeceased by her sister, Emmaline Pierce Gould; brothers, Alexander Pierce, Harry Sherman Pierce Sr., Freeman Pierce, Nathaniel Pierce, son, George Sammons, and step-son, Miguel "Papo" Ojeda. Honey is survived by her lovingly devoted husband of 55 years, Angel Ojeda-Vega. Honey is lovingly remembered by son, Miguel A. Guzman, step children; Angelo Guzman, Jorge Guzman, Chick Ojeda, Lisa Ojeda, Eddie Ojeda, Mark Ojeda, and Junior Angelo Ojeda; grandchildren, Tina Robbins, Kevin Sammons, Erica Reyes, Jonathan Reyes, Megan Ojeda, Michael Guzman and Ryan Ojeda. Great Grandchildren: Alexis Sammons, Brianna Sammons, Aliana Perez, Ariana Perez, Alexander Ojeda, Isabella Perez, Nariyah Reyes, and Jaden Reyes. Great -great grandson: Kayden Sammons. Niece and Nephews: Tonya Pierce, Robert Gould, Joseph Gould, Sherman Pierce, Phillip Pierce and Vernon Pierce. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Honey will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Saturday morning from 8:30am to 10:30am at the funeral home
