Obituary of Idalia Penalo

Idalia Perez Penalo, 70, of Vineland went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Inspira Health Network surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Naguabo, PR, she was a lifelong resident of Vineland. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Bally's Park Place and Casino. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, dancing and sharing her life stories. She will be remembered most by her infectious smile and laughter and her overflowing heart of love. She is survived by her mother, Catalina Gonzalez, spouse Higinio, her children Luis Pomales, Jr. (Gloria) of Buena, Daniel Pomales of Denver, CO and Bethzaida Pomales of Wilmington, DE. Grandchildren Luis Pomales III, Emilio Pomales and Nikolas Mawa. Brothers and sisters, Leonor, Petra, Rafael, Juan and Tito. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Rafael Perez Santana and brother Angel Luis Perez. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 30 at 10:30am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9am-10:30am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
