Leonides "Nilda" Rodriguez, 75 of Vineland passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, she enjoyed walking and visiting the sick. She loved spending time with her family and taking care of her mom who also had Alzheimer's. Nilda was very active in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and Divine Mercy Parish, where she was a member of the Cursillo and Carasmatic Group.
She was employed by Caesars Palace Casino in Atlantic City, NJ for 15 years.
Nilda is survived by her daughter, Mary Ramos Alvarado and husband Jesus and her son, Carlos Ramos (Maria), grandchildren, Kevin and Lourdes Ramos, 7 siblings; Juana Moya, Felipe Perez, Concepcion Franco, Luis Perez, Victor Perez, Enrique Perez and Carmen Carrasquillo.
A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church, 23 W Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Nilda will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Thursday morning from 9am to 10:45am at the CHURCH. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
