Obituary of David Gonzalez

David Gonzalez, 79 of Vineland, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 6, 2016 after an extended illness. He was born on December 15, 1936 in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Faustino Gonzalez and Inez Borrero. David was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to serving the Lord and taking care of his family. He worked as a presser for over 40 years before retiring. He is predeceased by his parents, Faustino Gonzalez and Inez Borrero and grandson, David J. McCray, Sr. David was blessed to have a large and loving family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his 3 sisters; Francisca (George) Rodriguez and Blanca Gonzalez both of Vineland; Josephina Gonzalez of PR, 4 brothers; Ramiro Gonzalez, Israel (Zaida) Gonzalez, Faustino (Delia) Gonzalez all of Vineland; Regalado (Ramona) Gonzalez of PR; 3 daughters, Noemi (Ronald) Pender of Rosenhayn, NJ, Juanita Walker (Jose), Lidia (Elizer) Jimenez both of Vineland; 3 sons, Jouse (Gina) Gonzalez of Millville, Pablo (Delia) Gonzalez of Vineland, David Gonzalez (Sue) of Rosenhayn; 28 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. David will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 5pm to7pm with a 7pm service and again on Thursday morning from 10am to 11:30am at the funeral home.
