Obituary of Andrew D. DeVecchis

Andrew "Andy" David De Vecchis, 27, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Vineland and graduated from Vineland High School in 2006 with honors. In, 2010, he graduated from CCC with an Associates Degree in the Electrical program. He achieved his apprenticeship status from the IBEW Local 351 in 2013 and was currently working as an electrician in this local. Andy was an avid sports player, loved working out at the gym, dancing, snowboarding, riding street bikes, spending time with family and friends, and having fun. Andy's most precious gift was his 6-year old daughter, Payton Taylor. He loved spending every spare moment with her enjoying movies, SkyZone, ice skating, playing sports, going to the beach, dance parties, and cooking together. Andy is survived by his daughter, Payton; his parents, Andrew and Deborah (De Furia) De Vecchis; sister, Danielle Clemente; brother, Douglas De Vecchis, and Samantha Laughlin, an integral part of his life as well as Payton's mom. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Andy will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Pompeii Cemetery, East Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm and again on Thursday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
