Obituary of Rita T. Biondi

Rita Biondi, age 95, of Vineland, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center with her family at her side. She was born in Vineland on May 27, 1920 to the late Charles and Angelina (Baralis) Quairoli. Rita was the cafeteria manager at St. Francis of Assisi School in Vineland from its inception until her retirement in 1985. She then served as the "ice cream lady" at the same school for a number of years. She was also an active member of the Ladies of St. Francis and the church choir and enjoyed crocheting and cooking. Rita was predeceased by her husband Alfred, son William, grandson Michael, brother Carlo Quairoli, and sisters Dolores Sharp, Angela Rigo, and Marie Valdiseri. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Bernice Biondi, and daughter-in-law, Sharon Biondi. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Marilyn (Gary) Beres, Chuck (Debbie) Biondi, Anne (Brian) Wills, Lori (Matt) Hullihen, Kathi (John) Wolff, Lisa (Luke) Litchendorf, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday at 11am at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Church of St. Isidore the Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Thursday at the CHURCH from 9am to 10:45am. Donations in Rita's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
