Amparo Mercado, 70 of Vineland, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at home, surrounded by her family.
Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, Amparo enjoyed knitting, spending time with her family and going to the Inspira Life Center, Vineland.
She is survived by 6 children; Miguel, Iris, Elizabeth, Jose L., Jose A., and William Aponte; 5 siblings, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. As requested by Amparo's family, please do not send flowers.
