Jose Antonio Ayala, Sr., 74 of Vineland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 17, 2016. Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Jose lived a life full of love of joy. He loved to play the guitar, sing and being surrounded by his family. Jose retired from the Vineland Board of Education.
He is predeceased by his wife, Olga I. Ayala, his granddaughter, Carmen A. Perez, his parents, Carmen Rivera and Agustin Ayala, Sr., brothers, Jesus Ayala, Agustin Ayala, Jr. and Hector Luis Ayala, sister, Eva Ayala, brother-in-law, Efrain Santiago and nieces, Evelyn Ayala, Maritza Serrano and Irma Ayala.
Jose is survived by his 7 children; Jose A. Ayala, Jr., Juan D. Ayala, Jose E. Ayala, Brenda Rosado, Maria M. Nieves, Maria I. Perez and Wanda L. Perez; 20 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 11 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Jose will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9am to 10am at the funeral home.
