Lucia Caraballo Mauras, 80, of Vineland passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Chester County Hospital, Pa.
Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, she had worked as a seamstress. Lucia loved spending time with family. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and flowers and was very proud of her Spanish heritage.
She is predeceased by her parents, Valentine Caraballo and Isabella Mauras; 2 daughters, Margarita Mendez and Luz Esther Mendez.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Eloisa Mendez and Maria Mendez; 1 son, David Mendez; 1 sister, Bernadina Caraballo; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Lucia will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Friday morning from 10am-11am at the funeral home.
