Obituary of Doris Guglielmo

Doris A. Guglielmo, 92, of Vineland, formerly of Minotola, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. Doris was born in Buena Vista Township, NJ to the late Armondo and Maria (Farnette) Ruggieri. She previously worked at Rossi Brothers, Cumberland Clothing, Phoenix Clothing, Crown Clothing and Little Acres Daycare. Doris enjoyed traveling to Sea Isle City, taking trips to the casinos, playing Bingo and card games, sewing and cooking. She was a very caring and giving person, who was always willing to help others in any way possible. Her smile and loving personality drew everyone to her. Doris adored her grandson Tory and always looked forward to his phone calls and visits from Denver. She was a wonderful mother-in-law, her devotion to both her family and friends was unbelievable. Doris would always have a kind word to say to everyone and was constantly helping other patients at the Bishop McCarthy Residence and was more than willing to take on any task to comfort others. She is predeceased by her two husbands, Lyle Aberle, Sr. and James Guglielmo; son, Lyle Aberle; granddaughter, Tara Belmont and brothers, George, Dino, John and William. Doris is survived by her daughter-in-law, Terry Aberle and her companion Larry Gorgo; grandson Tory Aberle; and sister-in-law, Mildred Ruggieri and her extended family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 from 10am-11am, followed by a funeral service at 11am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Doris will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. Donations in Doris' memory may be made to the Cumberland County SPCA 1244 N. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360.
