Obituary of Inez Maria Gonzalez

Inez Maria Gonzalez, a longtime resident of Vineland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family. Inez was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico to the late Manuel Perez and Claudina Maldonado. She worked as a seamstress for Crown Clothing and DeRossi Inc. in Vineland. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert N. Gonzalez. She is survived by sisters; Milagros Carrasquillo of Bronx, New York, Luzleida Diaz, and brother, Manuel Perez, both of Puerto Rico. She is also survived by her children; Antonio R. Gonzalez, Nilda I. Velez (Josè), Carmen E. Ostroff (Augustus), Gloria E. Myerson (Larry), Ivette M. Gonzalez, Gilbert J. Gonzalez (Gabriella) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived a good life supported and beloved by all who knew her. She leaves a legacy of a life devoted to her children and family filled with Godly compassion, graciousness, and unconditional love. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all her nurses and caretakers at Genesis and Samaritan Hospice Care. There will be a viewing from 9 am to 10am on Thursday, October 20, 2016 followed by a funeral service at 10am officiated by Pastor Dan Cooper at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 South Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361.
