Obituary of Tommy L. Moore
Please share a memory of Tommy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tommy Lee Moore Jr., a.k.a. "Nick @ Nite" was born on April 6th, 1970 to Tommie Lee Moore and Carrie B. Moore in Vineland, NJ. He departed this life on November 3, 2016.
Our avid Dallas Cowboys fan grew up on Luciano Street where he learned how to cut hair from his first teacher, his "Mommy." Cutting hair in the basement of his house eventually lead to him meeting Mr.Cleo, graduating from the Vineland Academy of Beauty and Culture, and working with his mentor Hassan Hameed-El. He achieved his dream of owning his own barbershop, the one and only, "NJ Finest Barbershop." This was a place where loved ones came, not to just get a haircut, but to be graced with Nick's presence, wisdom, laughter, and love.
Nick is survived by his parents, Carrie B Moore and Tommie L Moore and his 6 siblings; Ronald Hills, Christopher Hall, Tonya Moore, Natasha Witt (Hosie Witt), Tameka Moore (Carlton Savage), and Anthony Moore. In addition, his sister-in-law, Yurichia Chaney (Jesse Chaney) and friend/brother Roosevelt Hart and Henry Ledbetter. Finally by his loving children; Jenysia Ruiz, Dewan Moore, DeAndre, Brittini, Martin, and grandchildren; KaMayra, Dovonte, and Mylus Moore; nieces and nephews; Nesha, Kesha, Omar, Brielle, Kayla, Martikah, Chris Jr., Travis, Olivia, Destiney, Aaliyah, Kwamane, Ambrose, Asiana, Ariel, Allysa, Sharee, Karonjah, Tamiel, Ciani, Milani, Laila, Anthony Jr., Tristan, amongst a host of other family, friends, and community members.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private.
