I am so sorry about the death of your loved one. The death of a loved one can be a devastating experience. The pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable.
One thing that has help me to cope with my loss is found in God's word the Bible. One scripture that's comes to mind is Revelation 21:4 "And he (Jehovah) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." What a beautiful promise from our Heavenly Father Jehovah.
