Obituary of Edna Medina

Edna J. Medina, 45 of Buena Vista Township, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at home. Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, she had moved to the U.S. in 1968 to Hammonton. She is a graduate of Hammonton High School, Class of 1986. She was employed by Ancora State Hospital as a Principal Clerk Transcriber over 26 years. Edna enjoyed planning parties, taking pictures, shopping, reading her bible. Most of all, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her 2 loving daughters: Yalissa and Kiara Medina both of Vineland. Her son, Hector Medina of Puerto Rico, 2 grandsons: Nathan and Elijah of Vineland, 3 granddaughters, Lenisor and Nancy Medina, her father, Miguel Morales of Vineland, her devoted mother, Sonia Santiago of Hammonton, her brothers, Miguel Morales of NH, Harry Morales of NJ, Alberto Morales of Pa., her former husband, Hector Medina of Vineland and a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services and burial will be held on Wednesday at 11am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton. Friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Funeral procession will gather on Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home.
