In Loving Memory of Pablo Gonzalez On February 6, 2017, our Lord called upon our dear father, Pablo, to join his beloved wife, Esther, in God's promise of Eternal Life. Although we are heart-broken with our loss, we are overjoyed in their reunion. In addition to being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, relative, and friend to all who knew him, Pablo was a true servant to the idea of "family first." He lived for his family and was entirely devoted to them. His life was lived to the fullest by constantly filling it with family and good memories. He will also always be remembered for his ever-present smile, good-natured humor, and strong character. And now that his journey here has ended and his new journey with God and Esther commences, Pablo can rest in peace – confident that his life was well-lived in service to his family and friends. Pablo Gonzalez of Vineland, originally of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, 81, departed this world predeceased by his loving wife of almost 54 years, Esther Gonzalez, and is survived by his three children, Nancy Candelaria, Pablo Gonzalez, Jr., and Armando Gonzalez, grandchildren, Joseph Anthony Candelaria, and Ciara Montero, great-grandson, Lorenzo Joseph Candelaria, his siblings, Martin Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, Eugenio Gonzalez, and Rosario Acosta. Pablo is also survived by countless loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Our comfort lies in the truth ..."Blessed are the dead, who die in the Lord from henceforth." Family and friends will be received on Friday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday from 10:30am to 12:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 South Lincoln Avenue, Vineland, New Jersey. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday at 12:30pm at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 West Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Pablo will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland.
