Obituary of Mariano Garcia

Mariano O. Garcia, 85 of Cypress, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at home. Dad, you were an example of love and loyalty and a life under obedience to the heavenly Father. You gave your being entirely to the will of God making an impact on the life of your children, family and friends. With your simplicity and generosity, you leave a deep imprint and a huge void in our hearts. But death is only another step in our passage as we approach the Creator to be reborn into eternal life. We remember your favorite passage from Hebrews 10:35-36: "Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward." "For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised." I leave behind Bernalda, the love of my life of 63 years, along with my eight beloved children; Miriam Cordero, Albert Garcia (Marta), Nereida Rodriguez (George), Pedro Garcia (Nancy), Daniel Garcia, Abel Garcia, Elizabeth Merla (Arthur), and Nancy Garcia-Owchariw (Theodor); I also leave my beautiful grandchildren; Joel, Madeline (deceased), Albert Jr., Jessica, George 2nd, Eric, Anthony, Katherine, Daniel, Fallon, Andrew, Christopher, Venus (deceased), Arthur, Natalie and Theodor, and my adorable great grandchildren: George 3rd, Hannah, Hartley, Christopher, Angelise, Jabez, and Romeo. We have the painful duty of giving you the bad news and invite you to celebrate my father's life. Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm and again on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 9am to 10am followed by a funeral service at 10am at the Vineland Spanish Assembly of God Church, 512 S. Third Street, Vineland, NJ 08360. Interment will follow at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ.
