Obituary of Rosa J. Torres

Rosa J. Torres, 66, of Millville, New Jersey, took her last breath in the company of loved ones on Monday, February 20, 2017. Rosa was born July 5, 1950 in San German, Puerto Rico, to Marcello Torres-Santana and Rosa Cruz Torres Ferrer. She was the youngest of four siblings. She is survived by her brothers Carlos M. Torres-Ferrer, Luis A. Torres-Ferrer and Jose A. Torres; daughter Priscilla J. Torres-Monsanto and husband Jose Cruz, son Noel Perez-Torres and wife Rosali Perez; nieces and nephews Marco M. Ramirez, Vanessa M. Ramirez, Carlos T. Ramirez, Jeannette Torres, Jessica Perez, Betania Torres, Louis A. Torres, Anthony Torres and Mari I. Cruz; grandchildren Jada D. Perez-Alvarado, Nerisha L. Perez, Aniyah L. Perez, Victor N. Perez and Ava R. Perez. Rosa loved spending time with all of her family and enjoyed being a part of her grandchildren's lives. She enjoyed going out with her daughter and son to eat at restaurants and spending time with them. Rosa also enjoyed listening and dancing to Merengue and Salsa music; playing dominoes, drawing, watching WWE wrestling, and most of all eating her favorite chocolate chip cookies with chocolate milk. She was also very fond of the color pink. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and had the opportunity to be a part of her life. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 3:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Thursday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
