Magdalen "Margie" Andaloro (nee Van Steyn), 77 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday evening, February 25, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Lena Van Steyn and her son, Kenny Andaloro, whose loss she never got over. Margie was born in Franklinville, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Buena Vista Twp. Margie graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1958. She loved working outdoors in her many beautiful flower gardens. Her culinary skills in the kitchen created countless feasts for her family and friends and her cakes were unsurpassed in taste and beauty. Margie was most happy spending time with her family and friends both at home and at her vacation home in Little Marsh, Pennsylvania. Holidays were very special at home because Margie would decorate the home for everyone to enjoy. She also loved to crochet, bowl and play cards. Amongst Margie's many talents was being Uncle Gino Andaloro's international secretary! Margie is survived by her loving husband of fifty seven years, Carlo; her children, Steven (David) of Cape Coral, FL, Donna McCauley (Jim) of Vineland, Robert (Sherry) of Buena Vista Twp and Marilyn Spreng (Jeff) of Buena Vista Twp. Margie is also survived by five grandchildren, Steven J. and Nicholas C. Andaloro of Vineland, Carlo E. Spreng of Buena Vista Twp., Tanner Freeman of Franklinville and Kenneth Andaloro of Vineland. She also leaves behind her loving sisters and brothers, Clarina Scapellato of Forest Grove, Bernie Van Steyn (June) of Charleston, SC, Ann Reale (Frank) of Vineland, Betty Negri and partner Dom Pizzo of Vineland, Mary Formisano (John) of Buena Boro and Nicholas Van Steyn of Hatboro, PA and her brother in law Richard (Pat) Andaloro of Landisville and sister in law Diane Tamagni (Jim Marandino) of Marco Island, FL. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Michael's Church, 504 West Ave. Minotola, NJ. Margie will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville, NJ. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 8pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Thursday morning from 9:30am to 10:45am at the CHURCH. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make a donation in Margie's name to Saint Joseph's Regional Elementary School, 133 N. 3rd Street, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
