Andrew Uebelacker, 92, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. Born September 24, 1924 in Beaver Falls, PA to the late Andrew and Rose (Craighead) Uebelacker. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during WWII and was honorably discharged after sustaining injuries while serving his country. After moving to Vineland, he married Catherine in 1948. Andrew worked for Lurex and then New Jersey Bell for 25 years and enjoyed his retirement travelling overseas with his beloved wife and spending time with his family. Andrew also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, bowling, woodworking and most of all family get-togethers. Andrew was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. His wife Catherine and their loving family will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his son, Douglas Craighead Uebelacker and his brother, James Garrett Uebelacker. Andrew is survived by his wife of 68 years, Catherine J. (Botterill) Uebelacker; his son, Robert Andrew Uebelacker and wife Vivian (Biagi); daughter, Jane (Botterill) Uebelacker; grandsons, Robert Douglas and wife Janet and great grandson, Joseph Anthony Uebelacker, Ryan Andrew and wife Alisha and great granddaughter, Mia Grace Uebelacker; brother and best friend always, Craig and wife Wilma Uebelacker; sisters-in-law, Gerry Uebelacker and Eva Gifford; nephews, James and Kathy Uebelacker, Jay and Patty Gresimer; nieces, Linda and Tom Bradshaw, Rose and Al Stratton, Cindy and Jeff Rimby, Carolyn and Tom Woolaway, Lorrie Duda, Cathy and Bob Smith, Nancy and Paul Lokey and all of their families. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
