Obituary of Fay J. Compotaro

Fay J. Compotaro age 77 of Vineland passed away on March 16, 2017. Born in Millville, NJ she was a resident of Norma, NJ for more than 35 years. She passed away quietly at the home of her daughter Patty, where she has resided for the past 2 years with family at her side. Fay was employed by Kimble Glass Co. as a quality control inspector and was a home health nursing care taker for many years. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church and president of the women's auxiliary of the North Italy Club. She enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, camping at PVC, dancing and watching game shows. She is predeceased by her parents, Irene (Doris) Herman and Joseph Herman; her husband, Dominick Compotaro and daughter, Barbara (Compotaro) Spencer. She is survived by daughters, Antoinette "Ann" Curley and husband Timothy Curley; and Patricia "Patty" Downey all of Vineland; grandchildren, John Downey Jr, Richard Downey, Nicole (Curley) Petronglo and husband Joseph Petronglo, Lisa Curley, and Joshua Miller all of Vineland; great grand-grandchildren, Mia Downey and Maia Petronglo both of Vineland; son, Nickolas Compotaro and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 7:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
