Obituary of Mildred Cleo Long
Please share a memory of Mildred to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cleo W. Long, at the age of 96 slept away peacefully on March 27, 2017 to be with her husband, Lewis of 58 years, after several years of declining health.
She was born in Lancaster, PA and lived in Strasburg, PA until 1964. Because of her husband's transfer, they then moved to Ohio. In 1968 they moved to Vineland, NJ where she worked for Prudential for 12 years. In 2010 she moved to Arizona to be with her daughter Linda and son-in-law, Roy E. Bunker. Her granddaughter, Amy Stetser had relocated to Arizona 2 years prior and luckily they became next door neighbors.
Devoted to her family, Cleo was a longtime member and ordained Elder at Memorial Presbyterian Church whose members she considered to be her second family.
She enjoyed crocheting and making counted cross stitch projects, both of which she shared with family and friends. For as long as she was able to be in her home, she was happiest in her kitchen. Cleo was an excellent cook, loved to bake and was famous for her Christmas cookies.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bunker and husband Roy E; granddaughter, Amy Stetser; nephews, James and Robert Luke Rohrbaugh.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Porchtown Methodist Cemetery, Porchtown, NJ.
