Zulma "Zelma" Lorenzana, 71 went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, after a lengthy illness. Zelma was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on December 24, 1945 to Ralph Lorenzana and Patria Vasquez. Zelma was a beautiful, fun spirited mother, grandmother and friend who loved her family to the extreme as they were her pride and joy. She chose in life to take care of others and was so proud when her granddaughter decided to follow in her footsteps as an LPN. Zelma has left to cherish her memories, 4 children; Alan Graham, Michelle Phillips, Crystal Ellis and Robert Ellis, Jr; 9 beautiful grandchildren, Kaleena Ellis, Akeem Graham, Shatia Jones, Brandon Jones, Phillip Kinsey, Ryan Ellis, Jasmine Suggs, Noah and Ian Ellis; 18 great grandchildren with Elijah Ellis being nearest to her heart; 4 sisters, 2 brothers and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In memory, the day which we fear as our last, is but the birthday of eternity. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
