KERRI K. (CROWLEY) FLAIM, age 48, passed away unexpectedly at home in Vineland on August 30. She was born in Millville, was a graduate of the Vineland High School Class of 1982 and a graduate of the Harris School of Business. She was a Claims Processor for Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield; was previously employed by AtlantiCare; and was an auditor for Chapman & McVey in Voorhees. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and future son-in-law, gardening and going to concerts. She was known for her contagious smile and her immense love for her only child, Melissa. Kerri was loved by everyone. She opened her heart and home to all of her friends, and was known as "Mom," not only to her daughter, but to all of her daughter's friends. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Flaim and her fianc Celestino "Macho" Gonzalez, of Vineland; her mother Kathleen Chichura of West Palm Beach, Florida; her father James Crowley, of Huntington, Beach, CA; sisters Shari Sherman, of Simi Valley, CA, Cynthia Wells, and Pauline Walder of Vineland, and former mother and father-in-law Arleen and Richard F. Flaim of The Villages, Florida, numerous nieces and nephews, friends; her furry friends Brandi, Jake & Bailey; and she will be forever loved by her soul mate. She was pre-deceased by her step-father Daniel Chichura of Vineland. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 -8 p.m at the De Marco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Melissa Flaim, 1470 Washington Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08361.
