Obituary of Margaret Podvarko

Margaret "Peggy" Podvarko passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family into the arms of our Lord and Savior on May 18, 2017 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. Margaret was born in Millville, NJ to the late Raymond and Elizabeth Stormes on May 27, 1924. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Podvarko, Sr., her brothers Raymond Jr., Russell, Elmer, Gerald and William Stormes, sisters Ella Morris, Mary Lyster, Alice Milligan, and Alma Mason. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Chris and Sal Esposito, daughter Cindy Pleis and her children Ericka and Matthew, son-in-law Danny Quinones, daughter Linda Gonzalez and her children Lisa, Mark and Brian, along with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Prior to her retirement she worked for Ace Glass in Vineland for many years as well as Colonial Applicators. She enjoyed helping others and was a true inspiration to all those who knew her as a person who gave from her heart to anyone in need. Her life of giving and caring for others was returned to her by so many during her final months of life on earth. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all those who loved and cared for her at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home Justice Court Nursing Unit and the staff at Holy Redeemer Hospice, who also cared for her with love and compassion. Graveside services and burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30am at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday morning from 9am to 10am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
