Joseph Drogo, Jr., 73 of Dorothy, NJ, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Vitas Hospice Unit at Kennedy-Stratford. Born in Vineland, he was a lifelong area resident of the Dorothy area.
He was employed by R.S.L. Company of Egg Harbor Township as a maintenance man for several years. Joseph was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the United States Army.
He enjoyed all Philly sports, yardwork and watching deer and wildlife in his yard. Joseph was a devoted member of the Milmay Bible Church. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph Drogo, Sr. and Sophia (Dobnack), and his brother-in-law, Bernie Kaven.
He is survived by:
3 sisters: Carolyn Bauman and husband Ed of Landisville
Phyllis Kaven of Margate, NJ
Fay Lorenzini and husband Robert of Landisville
Many nieces and Nephews
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 7 at 11am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ. Friends will be received on Friday at the funeral home from 10am to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to, Vitas Hospice Care, 521 Fellowship Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054, or Milmay Bible Church, P.O. Box 31 Milmay, NJ 08340.
