Obituary of Judith A. Carano
Please share a memory of Judith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Judith "Judy" A. Carano, 70 passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 10,
2017 after a lengthy illness. Born in Philadelphia, Pa in 1946 she grew up in
Clayton, NJ before moving to Minotola, NJ in 1972 upon marrying the love of her life,
Ronnie Carano.
Judy lived a simple life and embraced her role of wife, mother and grandmother.
She often asked family and friends, "What can I help you with today?" Judy
possessed a quiet strength, was incredibly unselfish and extremely giving. She
loved 50's music, crafting with her Matlack Pharmacy friends, shopping at Boscov's
and going to dinner with her husband. Judy, together with her husband loved
hosting Christmas Eve for family. Her baking skills made the holidays extra special
as everyone waited for her to pass along her famous ricotta cookies. Long walks
and evening drives with her husband, and often with their dog Blackie were very
enjoyable to her. She would cook for 10 people every night even though there were
only 4 in her family. "You never know who's going to show up" and often the dinner
table was full of 8 to 10 people. Judy's life was fulfilled when the grandchildren
arrived. She cherished spending her time with them and never missed a single
opportunity to support them on any stage or baseball field. She always made them
feel special with a daily phone call and trips to the ice cream shop. They will always
remember how strong "Mommom" was and how, even on her toughest days, she
would manage to make them smile.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, William and Mildred (Mazucca) Scuito; her
husband, Ronnie "Butch" L. Carano; brother, Joe Scuito; her in-laws, Ivan and
Eleanor (Fulves) Carano; and cousin Bobby Marino.
She is survived by 2 sons, Ronn Carano, Jr and wife Audra (Olson), John Carano and
fiancé Keswicke Jeffcoat; 4 grandchildren, Hailey, Tre, Aidan and O'Tera Carano and
many nieces and nephews.

County Veterans Cemetery, 109 State Hwy 50 Mays Landing, NJ. Arrangements are
