Obituary of Angel Diaz

Angel Diaz, 44 of Vineland passed away on Sunday July 23, 2017 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He served as a correctional officer at Bayside State Prison until his retirement in 2014 due to his illness. Angel was an avid lover of anything sports related. He was also a car enthusiast. He gave lots of love and made everyone smile.

He is survived by his parents Milagros and Edras Santiago, twin brother Maguil Diaz and girlfriend Delilah Afanador; brother Christian Santiago and wife Christina; brother Jessie Diaz; maternal grandmother, Rosalia Marrero; Eddie and Christine Marin; nieces and nephew Arianna, Melanie, Akira, Alia, Alicia, Dee and Ozzie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. And we can't forget his beloved dog, Mimi.

Family and friends may gather and celebrate his life on Saturday, July 29th from 5:00-6:30pm with a funeral service at 6:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland NJ. In lieu of flowers please donate to the SPCA or the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
