Obituary of Ernest R. Bollers

Ernest Bollers, beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather died on Sunday, July 23, 2017 after a prolonged illness. Ernest was born December 15, 1928 in Guyana to Henry Sr. and Rebecca Bollers. After immigrating to the US in his early 20s, he was drafted into the United States Army and sent to fight in Korea. After the war he continued to serve in the military for more than two decades. Throughout his successful career he was stationed in more than a half a dozen states in the US, Europe, and Asia, including Vietnam during active wartime. He received multiple promotions rising to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 prior to his retirement. Ernest is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Cleo Bollers of Vineland; 5 daughters, Patricia Bollers, Helena Watts (David), Rene Farmerio (Florentino), Marie Bollers and Debra Bollers-Fowler (Kevin); 6 grandchildren, Anthony Bollers, Christina Watts, Teofilo Farmerio (Raveen), Adam Watts, Angel Marie Farmerio and Alexis Farmerio; 1 great-grandchild Lex Farmerio; 2 brothers, Henry Bollers and Cyril Bollers as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins in the US, Guyana and The United Kingdom. Visitation will be held at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Saint Isidore the Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, NJ 08361 on Saturday, July 29th from 11:30 am to 12:15pm followed by a funeral mass at 12:30 pm. Ernest will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 741 E. Walnut Rd, Vineland. Arrangements are by the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
