John "Jack" McDonough passed away suddenly on Aug.9, 2017 at the age of 46. He was raised in Harvey Cedars NJ, and recently of Vineland NJ.
Jack is a decorated Veteran and served in the United States Army for 8 years, in the 82nd Airborne. He received the Bronze Star and 3 Purple Hearts, with 6 combat deployments and several war wounds even though Jack never saw himself as a hero. Yet, he was to so many. "Capt" Jack as he was known, had a love for music and was an avid music guru, which many knew him for.
Jack is survived by his fiancé and 12 1/2 yr old step son, Heidi M Covert and John Covert of Vineland, NJ; daughter, Chasity "Chaz" Hill of Oklahoma; mother and her significant other, Carolann Giga and Joseph Harbula of Ty Ty, Ga; sister, brother-in-law and niece, Heather Vosseller, Ronald Papasso and Olivia Papasso of Sicklerville NJ.
Funeral services are private.
