Obituary of Enrique Galindez

Enrique Galíndez, 80 of Vineland passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland, New Jersey. Enrique spent his early years in the beautiful city of Manati, Puerto Rico. He later moved to New York where he met his loving and cheerful wife, Noelia Galíndez. Enrique was a dedicated husband and father who loved to listen to his salsa music and play dominoes. He was a wrestling fanatic and loved comedic sitcoms that would always make us smile as we heard his laughter throughout the house. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his loving children, Sandra Agostini (Efrain Agostini) of Vineland, NJ; Gerson Borrero (Ruth Noemi Colon) of White Plains, NY; as well as his daughter in law, (wife of deceased son, Victor Borrero) Yolanda Alvarez Borrero and doting grandchildren; Julixa Newman, Christine Borrero, Taína Borrero, Victor M. Borrero Jr., Jason Agostini, Gerson Felipe Borrero and Elias Agostini. Enrique is also survived by several siblings; Gloria Galíndez, Milagro Galíndez, Luisa Galíndez, Margarita Galíndez, Josefina Galíndez, Billy Galíndez and Gladys Galíndez; as well as niece, Maria Witcher. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00am at Divine Mercy Parish, St. Francis of Assisi Church, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. Enrique will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the CHURCH from 9:00am to 10:45am.
