June B. Cairone 89 of Malaga passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She will be reunited with her husband, Louis Sr., daughter-in-law, Susan (Grasso) Cairone; parents, Bernard and Katherine (Kehner) Morrell; brothers, Norman and Frank Morrell.
She leaves behind her children, Mary (Bob) Foster of Mays Landing, Frank (Cindy) Cairone of Bridgeton, Louis Cairone, Jr of Malaga and Joanne (John) White of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; sister, Janet Beck of Vineland; brother-in-law, Joe (Dolores) Cairone of Malaga; her devoted caregiver, Angela Davtyan; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Before her retirement, June operated Cairone Farms with her husband and sons. Her civic and religious affiliations include, Malaga School PTA, St. Mary's Church, Malaga, Franklinville Township Historical Society and the Women's Auxiliary of Malaga Fire Company.
June was the official historian of the Cairone and DeMatteo families. June and her late husband Louis Sr., lived and raised their family on the farm with Louie's parents where the extended families would gather. Being a central part of these gatherings, as years went by family members would visit June for their stories. She loved sharing these old time remembrances. Above all else, June was devoted to her family and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Friday evening, September 1, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland and again on Saturday morning from 10am to 10:45am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Mary's Church, 253 Old Dutch Mill Rd. Malaga followed by a funeral mass at 11am. June will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heartland Hospice of Woodbury, 190 N.
