To the Webber-Mecholsky family: I send you my deepest sympathy and heartfelt sorrow at the passing of your mother, my dear friend, Mary. For me not to remember Mary would be like forgetting where I come from, and even who I am – we were lifelong friends since childhood. Our school days and childhood together were filled with the closest trust, friendship, faith, and joy. Mary, Julia and I were called the Three Musketeers. The three of us walked to and from school, every day, together - from the start of kindergarten to graduation from PHS. Our friendship was full of love and sharing. It was peaceful, respectful, and sincere. Mary made my schools days both fun and a bit easier – she helped me as a mentor and was my tutor in Math. May 27th, 1950, was a wonderful, joyous, and beautiful day. I was so proud to be her maid of honor. I will always cherish our close bound and its mutual respect, generosity, and love. Her kindness, sincere loyalty, and friendship will always be a treasured gift. Mary, rest in peace. Julia and I loved you and we always will - our “third Musketeer. With love, respect and true friendship Cat Nastasi Magazu
