Obituary of Maurice N. Lewis

Maurice Nigel Lewis (Reese), 19, of Millville, New Jersey, born August 14, 1998 unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Maurice was a lifelong resident of Millville and graduated from Millville High School in 2016, where he played football for the Bolts and ran track. He also enjoyed playing basketball and listening to music. He was a student at Pennco Tech in Blackwood, NJ, training to become a mechanic, as well as, a former student of Cumberland County College. Maurice worked as a crew member at McDonald's in Millville for the past 3 years and had future plans on joining the Army. Maurice is preceded in death by his cousin, Toshina Thomas; uncle, Arnold Thomas; uncle, Robert Thomas; aunt, Vanessa Santiago; uncle, Joseph Thomas Sr., and aunt, Pamela Elliott. He is survived by his loving mother, Marisol Cruz; father, Lamont Webb; sisters, Mariah Lewis, Miah Cruz, Yanique Garcia and Sakeenah Shakir; brothers, Hamid Webb and Basil Webb; his grandparents, Laura Cruz and William Sierra, Sheree Thomas and Robert Lewis; aunts, Victoria Sierra, Fatima Lewis, Mary Thomas, Jessica Bovenzi and Legeia Brown of New Mexico; uncles, William Sierra, Darnell Lewis (Teresa) and Joseph Lewis. Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 9am to 11am at Demarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, followed by a funeral service at 11am.
