John’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". The workers for Rose Hill Cemetery kept damaging the decorations I was putting on my mother's grave. So I very recently looked up the contact info for the cemetery, and it was John. I called him and told him what was going on and he was extremely nice and understanding. He assured me the issue would be taken care of, and it was. The following week I went to my mother's grave, and the decorations looked as though nothing ever happened to them, and I haven't had any more issues... Very hard to believe that the same man I talked to over the phone just a month ago, who was more than helpful to me, was the same person I read about on the news just days ago... I didn't know John at all, or who he even was until that day. But just from that brief 5 minute phone conversation with him, and then especially seeing things taken care of afterwards, was enough for me to tell how good of a person he was. Reading about him later only confirmed it. I am so saddened by this. My deepest condolences to his family.

Years ago, we would see John every week at church and he was always very welcoming and friendly! We also would see him every Trick-or-Treat, giving out candy! He drove us from my mother's funeral, and again he was so friendly and kind! He will be missed!

Working with John for over 2 and a half years at DLFH , John would always tell me "DO NOT DRIVE THE HEARSE IN THE PUDDLES" because once I did and the mud just caked on the tire and fender... Many more memories of JP that were "unforgettable" and how he shared his from the heart opinions will never be forgotten. RIP my friend and take care of Carole in Heaven!

My heartfelt prayers go out to the family. I knew John and Carol because they frequently shopped at Family Dollar where I am the manager. Carol and I had mutual friends that worked at Silver Run where she retired. They were loved by everyone and taken too soon. Praying for all of those who knew them as well as their family.

Sue & Family: I am deeply sorry for your tremendous loss. Mr. Paladino was an extraordinary man!! Whenever I would come to the funeral home with my mother he would go out of his way to make sure my mom (in a wheelchair) was taken care of immediately. I can't say enough kind words about your father. I will continue to keep your parent, and your family, in my prayers. xoxoxo!!!
