Obituary of Richard S Ricci
Richard Stephan Ricci, Sr., 77, of Vineland, New Jersey, peacefully passed away on August 9, 2018, at the N.J. Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland.
Richard was born in Clinton, New Jersey, on October 21, 1940. His parents were Jennie (Ricci) and Bruno Dominianni. After high school, Richard entered the Army and proudly served his country. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry Medal.
He loved hanging out with his grandchildren, telling jokes, playing dominoes, getting in the car for a Sunday drive, his dog, Chewy, watching Westerns and eating Jersey peaches.
He is preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 30 years, Mickey, his parents and his brother, Bruno Dominianni, Jr.
Richard is survived by his daughter, Debra J. Ricci, of Baltimore, MD; sons, Richard Stephen Ricci, Jr. of College Park, MD, and Robert Joseph Ricci of Alexandria, VA; two grandsons, Eric Ricci Brashears, and Steffen Arthur Ricci; and, granddaughter Lydia Isabelle Ricci. He is also survived by three sisters, Barbara Joy and husband, Terry of Oregon; Anna Dominianni of Washington State; and Rita Fasekas and husband, Joe of Nevada, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 11am to 12:30pm, with a funeral service to follow at 12:30pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
