Obituary of Elsa Matias

Elsa Matias, 83 of Vineland, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. She was born to Carmen and Juan Morales on December 8, 1934 in Peñuelas, PR, one of four children.
Before retiring, Elsa worked at Crown Clothing as a seamstress. She enjoyed watching her Spanish soap operas "Novelas", walking on the Ocean City Boardwalk, going to the casinos and watching food channels. She is known for making best Spanish coffee and rice pudding.
She is predeceased by her parents, Juan and Carmen Morales and son, Miguel Perez.
Elsa is survived by her children, Diane, Luis (Vidalina), Tony (Marisol), Osvaldo, Victor, Juan and Miriam (Jose); her grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her sister, Rosalinda and two brothers, Samuel and Hector and a number of relatives and close friends.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Bishop McCarthy Residence and everyone else who cared for Elsa.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9am to 10:30am, followed a funeral service at 10:30am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Elsa will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
