Obituary of Miguel R. Campodonico

Miguel "Osito" Rodolfo Campodonico, of Vineland, New Jersey, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 after an extended illness at Inspira Medical Center. Miguel was born in Lima, Peru to Miguel, Sr., and Teresa Campodonico. After graduation from high school, Miguel started an exciting adventure as a Merchant Marine for Peru. He traveled extensively and loved to tell his family about his trips around the world.
He married the love of his life, Margarita (Manns) Campodonico and they had two daughters, Sarah and Rachel. Miguel was employed by the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier for over 20 years.
He enjoyed going to church, listening to the word of God, and considered Emmanuel Bible Church his second home and family. Miguel also enjoyed cooking, reading, eating, especially Chinese food, telling jokes, and was a prankster. He loved going to the beach with his family and taking his daughters and their friends on day trips to various amusement parks. He also loved watching soccer and rooting for Peru.
Miguel is survived by his wife of 34 years, Margarita Campodonico; his two daughters, Sarah (Peter) Trasferini and Rachel (Cullen) Campodonico; his granddaughter, Isabella Grace Hutsell, the apple of his eye; two sisters, Elena (Guy) Lonne and Flor (Quincy) Figlia and brother, Fernando Campodonico.
Miguel will be remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, in laws, extended family, and friends.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Emmanuel Bible Church, 75 Columbia Ave., Vineland on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10am to 11am, followed by a church service at 11am. A private cremation will follow. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Memories, thoughts and prayers may be extended to the family by visiting dlfuneral.com.
