Love and will miss my cousin. In my own medical challenge, I remember when we'd run into each other he would ask me: how you doin Amp? I'd tell him, I'm good cuz. And then he would say, "That's good but how you really doin" He genuinely wanted to know. I always appreciated that.

OMG, Shelley and I met on the NJ Transit Bus going to work in AC and he shot some corny line to get my attention and it worked..lol..he was special like that. We would ride laugh and sing to work with our friend Laverne as we played "Adore" by Prince repeatedly. You always had a special place in my heart and it's forever cemented. Rest well my friend.❤

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Shelley who I always called Wayne. I went to Highschool with him and Art class also. He was always the one who made everyone laugh in Art class. He was also very talented in that field and I thought of him, often wondering if he followed his dreams to go to Art College. I know he will be sadly missed because he had such a big presence about him and like I said, he could make anyone laugh.
My fond memory of him was in 10th grade Art class we had to make a movie and Wayne was in my group. We all decided to make a movie about Vincent Van Gogh's life and Wayne wanted to be Vincent. So we had 6 or seven little kids stand next to him and Wayne dressed as a little Vincent. We panned across the kids and when it got to Wayne we definitely had to pan UP. I will never forget the look on his face!
I will never forget his kind sole. May God bless his children and his Family

Dearest Walker Family,
it pains my heart and brings tears to my eyes to read about Wayne’s passing. May the strength and love that your family has always shown carry you through this sad time.
My memories of Wayne will always be of that dear five year old, walking down the street to Reber School to begin another day in kindergarten, always happily enjoying any art project.
Your family has always held a special place in my heart and please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.

My sympathies to the family. Wayne was always so pleasant and a fun person to be with. It’s hard to image he is gone from you all. May you find comfort in the promises from the Bible. Darlene Harris-Carter & Family.
