My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Walter. I volunteered with Walter at the Elmer Hospital for the last few years. We worked together at the front desk/surgical waiting room. We all enjoyed his company and his many stories. He was so proud of his doll houses and puzzles, and even more so of his baking abilities. One of my fondest memories is when we gave him a surprise birthday party for his 90th birthday. He loved being the center of attention (especially from all the ladies), and he was so humble about being acknowledged in that way. Rest easy Walter.

As a volunteer at Elmer hospital with Walter for the past few years, I would like to offer my condolences to his family. He was a "one of a kind". He made many friendships among the volunteers and many staff members as well. We will always remember his famous cheesecakes that he made for us to share. He will be missed.
