Joe was born in New York on September 17, 1930, and his family moved to Vineland NJ in the late 1930's. He was employed as a union tile setter for the majority of his career, and was a highly skilled mechanic. His career was highlighted by the resurgence of Atlantic City and he was most proud of his work in the casinos during that time, but his talents are evident in the countless jobs completed in the region during his career. He retired in 1990 and spent the last thirty years making wine, tending to his garden, and spending time with his family.
