Coach Keith was my very first softball coach, I will always remember him telling me to push my hardest and never give up and to never quit. I am now a Varsity athlete and still hear his voice in my head saying “come on Arianna you can do it” “keep pushing Arianna don’t stop push harder” thank you coach Keith. I will dearly miss you. Keith truly was a “union man.” He had such passion for the labor movement. He understood that empowering workers through unions is what built and maintains the middle class. He deserves the accolades given to the best of our labor leaders. The real Hoffa could have learned a lot from Keith. He will be missed at the bargaining table and by everyone who knew him.

Sending prayers of comfort to the Lauermann Family. I will always remember meeting Keith when he coached my son’s tee ball team. He took to Evan (my son) right away. I remember he even baked his glove for him which I appreciated as a single mom...and later years our weekly chats at TKD about any and everything while we watched evan and keith spar. Sad day today. I don’t remember why I was fortunate enough to have Keith in my car at age 18, but I remember being so nervous and excited that “Thee” Keith Lauermann was in my car “Cruising the Ave”……. Back in the day……. He was such a sweet nice guy to me that day. It made that much of an impression 30 some years later. His kindness touched me that day.

You are probably making clams & spaghetti right now for all our loved ones & asking Mom if the spaghetti is al-dente!
