My Uncle Mike and Aunt Rose were two very special people in my life. My earliest memories were when Uncle Mike and Aunt Rose would visit us in Philly at Easter time and for Christmas, they would always have in tow their three daughters, my cousins, which I would always be excited about and always made me feel extra special by bringing special Easter baskets and Christmas gifts.
I will always remember how loving Uncle Mike and Aunt Rose were to each other; never heard them raise their voices. It would always be an enjoyable visit with them whether it was in Philly or in Jersey.
I so loved and will always love my Uncle Mike and Aunt Rose.
Your loving niece Joann Zecca Fox

Being introduced to my wife’s Uncle Mike Fantini, I learned first hand why she so loved her Uncle Mike. After our intro it wasn’t long after that I realized, like myself, Mike also was a proud Veteran. When I learned which ship he was on, the USS Gilbert Islands CVE-107, I immediately began a search for a hat with the ship’s emblem on it. We Veterans covet our hats; they tell the World that we are a proud Vet, and Mike Fantini was an Honorable Discharged Veteran. I salute you, Mike Fantini. Otto Fox, U.S. Army, VietNam Veteran.
