Debra Lynn Sosa Brown peacefully went to be with The Lord on the morning of Monday, June 27, 2022.
Debra was born on April 13, 1958 in Middletown, New York to the late Victor A. Sosa and Ruth M. Newhall.
Debra devoted over 30 years of her life and served the public and community as a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Counselor, Social Worker, Sunday School Teacher, and Christian Minister.
She enjoyed helping anyone she could and loved the Lord. In her last days with us, she was in the care of Medical Professionals in Camden, NJ. Her passing was dignified, she was not alone, and did not suffer.
Debra is survived by her mother; her 3 children, Sara L. Castillo, Wilfredo (Meghan) Rodriguez, and Sasha Rodriguez; 5 grandchildren, Brandon C. Rodriguez, Wendy A. Rodriguez, Aijah E. Sparks, and Dylen W. Rodriguez and 1 great granddaughter, NevaehSky Nixza Rodriguez. She is also survived by 7 sisters, Jane (Felix) Gil, Donna Hinman, Linda (Daniel) Trisdale, Mary Joya, Miriam Sosa, Iraida (Jose) Camacho and Linda (Frank) Himes and 2 brothers, William (Gert) Hinman and Victor Sosa Jr. She was predeceased by her father and 2 sisters, Betty Sosa and Marisol Sosa. She was also very fond of her feline fur baby Maci Brown.
Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 11am to 12pm with funeral services to begin at 12pm at the Spanish Assembly of God 512 South Third Street Vineland, NJ 08360. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.
