Every moment spent with this extraordinary lady was magical – lots of adventures; It's impossible not to smile when reminiscing about the lessons she taught and memories shared. We went to Atlantic City about once a month to have dinner, watch a comedy show or play on the slot machines. We even met George Lopez in 2013. Norma loved the excitement of the casinos. And so did I. One time I’d lost some money and on the way out, I took a live plant from their garden; telling Norma that the casino owed me for my lost money. She complained all the way home that I shouldn’t have taken it. Well, the next day I drove back to Atlantic City and returned the plant. I took a video of myself (as proof) and when I sent it to her…she just laughed. Although that happened in 2015, we still laughed about recently.

Lit a candle on behalf of my family. Continuing to pray and offer words of encouragement to the Diaz family. I know that they were very close and were always there for each other and will be missed by all. Will always be here for all. Extremely Grateful/Thankful for everything/all that Norma did for Elena and the kids over the years. I always seen and heard that she Truly went above and beyond in her struggles/efforts to do anything/everything for the kids and was always present in their lives in every way possible.. She truly was the pillar that helped form the "grandbabies aka the bratz" into who they are today. Her home, her heart was always open to them all, including anyone who needed her. Again, for that I will always be extremely grateful and thankful.

My big sister Norma was always on my back to get my stuff together gave me tough love when I was down and out but would always try to help me better myself
For that I'm grateful for now I have a better life she will be surely missed by me and other family members

I was in awe of Norma's bravery and determination to survive the many serious medical issues that seemed to plague her.
I for one would have surrendered long ago, but she always came back from the edge again and again.
Sadly as hard as she fought to live she just couldn't win this battle and the Lord called her home.
Norma was incredibly generous and lived for her family.
Nothing was more important than ensuring they were safe and taken care of.
She always placed family ahead of herself.
Godspeed Norma.
You now live eternally with our Lord and Savior in Heaven till we meet again.

When I was a young girl and visited our grandparents house where Norma lived for many years as an adolescent, she would always wake up in the middle of the night (when I cried out for her) and turn the light on for me so that I could go to the bathroom. It’s a good memory because we laughed about it over our adult years. She hated doing it at the time but I know in the long run, it was something she would’ve done for any of her siblings. I’ll never forget it.

I worked with Norma many years at Caesars we had a lot of great talks together,loved talking to her we had a nice friendship.she was a one in a million person.l met my husband at Caesars he also worked together in the same Dept.together,they also became friends to.l along with my husband will miss Norma dearly as along with a few others we had a good little click.we enjoy her and her daughter at our wedding when we got married in 2003, we had a fun night with all the Caesars friends and our family God bless all live Debbie and Dale
