Obituary of Gilberto J Bermudez

Gilberto J. Bermudez, 43, of Vineland, NJ, died in his home unexpectedly on Thursday, September 28, 2023.

He was born in Wilmington, DE in 1979 to Gilbert Bermudez, Jr and Joyce A. Bermudez. As a child, Gilberto would always sing around the house while playing and would always find himself outdoors getting into mischief with his neighborhood friends. His love for singing stayed with him throughout his life. He loved to sing in church, school plays, and was a regular when it came to his favorite places hosting Karaoke. All his family and friends would beg for him to sing a song for them. One thing for sure Gilberto's faith in the Lord was so strong and he never lost sight of it. His smile and laugh were infectious and he brought so much joy and laughter to all who were around him. The love he had for his family and friends was undeniable and his favorite place to be was surrounded by all of them. Gilberto had no children but did have a fur baby "Nicco" who was his world and 2 nieces and a new nephew that he couldn't get enough of.

Gilberto was a longtime resident of Vineland, NJ. He graduated from Vineland High School, Class of 98 and was a dedicated hardworking employee for the CVS store chain for 21 years.

Gilberto was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce A. Bermudez and is survived by his father, Gilbert Bermudez Jr.; fur baby Nicco; sister, Marita Bermudez Torres; brother in law, Rolando Torres J; nieces, Liliana Torres, Joyana Torres and nephew, Leonidas Torres as well as his best friend, Carl Trapani along with so many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 6, 2023 at DeMarco - Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave, Vineland, from 6pm to 8pm. Burial will be private. Donations to Gilberto's Gofundme https://gofund.me/52ddc3ee would be greatly appreciated.
