We had such a good time working at the Vineland Dispatch. Whenever either one of got upset...we found the other taking the time to talk the other down. I'm so very sorry that she is no longer with us... but I know she is with our creator and is no longer in discomfort and now cannot wait to see her again. Nancy Dispirito- Crane was a great friend and will always remain my friend.

Nancy and I have been friends since we were 15 years old. It didn't matter how much time had passed between phone calls, texts, and visits, we were 15 again whenever we talked. One of our last conversations was about a cookie jar I gave her as a teenager when she and Bob moved into their first apartment in Pitman (I think she was still pregnant with Renee). I gave it to her as a housewarming gift....thing is, I don't even remember it, but she described it to a tee and said she still has it sitting on the counter in her kitchen after all these years....lol. We had a good laugh and a wonderful walk down memory lane over that cookie jar. I am rich and thankful for having had the good fortune of having her as my lifelong dear and beautiful friend. We don't have much time on earth, but, what we do have is good friends and family to make life and this world more enjoyable. My only wish is that we would have had more time to spend together. Nancy will be remembered for many things.....fancy things, kindness, beauty, energy, enthusiasm, love, feistiness and fire. But for me, it will always be friendship....true and honest friendship. Good friends are rare, but she was an endangered species....lol. Her friendship and love will forever cast a loving glow on me and my life till we meet again.

I met Nancy at Comcast where life was frustrating at times. I would crack jokes to lighten the mood. She’d say, “you are too much”! but the joy on her face when I was done was worth the trouble I may have gotten into. I will always remember her smile. Peace be unto the family. May her soul rest with the Lord.

Mom today has been 1 week since you left and it still doesn't seem real. I miss you and I can't believe you're really gone, but I know you're not suffering anymore and I know you're at peace. That will have to be what gets me through this as time goes on because I don't know what else would. Love you mom.

G-mom,
You were always the one to bring the family together with good food, hot coffee, and treats. I have to admit that I get some of my love for makeup from you! All the memories of being a little girl going through your makeup bags, and even still as I grew older. Endlessly swatching lipsticks and trying on new mascaras. I also have to credit you with my love for coffee. You were sure to give every grandchild their first taste as soon as you could. You will be missed but we know you are always with us in spirit.
Love,
Lauren

I have so many good memories growing up with Nancy she wasn’t too much older than my sister and me but I always thought of her as the cool kid she loved to listen to music and dance. I’m sad that she has passed too soon. I hope she is resting comfortably without pain and enjoying her reunion with her mom dad and Chuck.

She'll take you in, feed your friends
Her open arms are welcoming
She'll rub your back all night when you're crying
She'll listen to you tell your story
Hold your fear and all your worries
Help you find the truth when they're all lying
Even when it's hopeless, she keeps trying
She's your mother, you love her
There won't be another place like her again you call home
She stands here to help you, there's nothing she won't do
As long as she's alive, you're not alone, you've got each other
That's your mother
She fixes all the broken things
When you're in love, she's got a ring
To give to you, she hopes you'll give away
She don't care who you give it to
Where they're from, if they pray like you
As long as they are good to you, that's enough
First thing she taught you was love is love
She's your mother, you love her
There won't be another place like her again that you call home
She stands here to help you, there's nothing she won't do
As long as she's alive, you're not alone, you've got each other
That's your mother
When you fail her, when you're afraid
And crying in the careless mess you've made
She'll make you clean it up yourself and offer you a little help
And dry your weary eyes when you let her
But she'll look at you and know you can do better
She's your mother, you love her
There won't be another place like her again that you call home
She stands here to help you, there's nothing she won't do
As long as she's alive, you're not alone
And the secrets in your heart she's always known
She's a beacon, a harbor
A lighthouse, her armor
A promise and a blanket when it's colder
You'll understand it more when you get older
You've got each other
That's your mother
You've got each other
That's your mother

What words could possibly be said that would express my feelings for my sister, Nancy. My favorite childhood memory was of her imitating Diana Ross, singing into her hairbrush. It was through Nancy's love of Bob that brought into my life my best friend. Kathy and I cherish the sweet memories we four had together all those years ago. And now I'm grateful to have been able to spend so much of her last days with her and Bob. I know I will see Nancy again in heaven, where there are no tears, no pain, and no separation for eternity. Until we see each other again, good night my sweet sister.

Gmom I love you and I'll miss you. Things just aren't the same without you here, but I'm happy you aren't suffering anymore. I'll always think of you. So much reminds me of you already. Certain smells, situations, sounds. But even though I feel sad when I'm reminded, I also feel happy. I'm sad that you're not here but I'm happy that we had so many moments and memories together that I can be reminded of you all the time. It almost makes it feel like you're still here. I love you. Tell everyone up there I said hi and I miss them.

Your Mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street.
She's the smell of certain foods you remember,
flowers you pick and perfume that she wore.
She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well.
She's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day.
She’s the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep,
the colors of a rainbow. She is Christmas morning.
Your Mother lives inside your laughter.
She's crystallized in every teardrop.
A mother shows every emotion .......... happiness, sadness, fear,
jealousy, love, hate, anger, helplessness, excitement, joy,
sorrow... and all the while, hoping and praying
you will only know the good feelings in life.
She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's
the map you follow with every step you take.
She's your first love; your first friend, even your first enemy, but
nothing on earth can separate you.
Not time, not space...not even death!
As we look back over time
We find ourselves wondering …..
Did we remember to thank you enough
For all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides
To help and support us …..
To celebrate our successes
To understand our problems
And accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example,
The value of hard work, good judgment,
Courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you
For the sacrifices you made.
To let us have the very best?
And for the simple things
Like laughter, smiles and times we shared?
If we have forgotten to show our
Gratitude enough for all the things you did,
We’re thanking you now.
And we are hoping you knew all along,
How much you meant to us.

Nancy, I am absolutely without words. So many wonderful memories we created throughout the 42 years we knew each other. Shopping, drinking pots upon pots of coffee, riding around in Nancy’s Dream. I am happy you are no longer suffering and I find some comfort in knowing that you and my mom went to the other side together. To Bob, Renee, Candy, BJ, Joe, Michael and the spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren, just know that so many thoughts and prayers are headed your way for comfort and healing. Nancy was a light in my life as she was in all of yours. I will miss her dearly.

I should be sad and heartbroken
But honestly, I’m not
Yes, you’ve been taken away
But it’d be selfish, if that was my thought
The things you’ve been through
You’ve endured, suffering and pain
No matter what I feel, there’s no way
I’d want you to go through that again
The heavens have spoken
The angels decided, it was time to go
I’m sad, I’m heartbroken… but in a better place
You are now, I know
RIP Mom until I see you again.
Love, Renee
