Obituary of Luis A. Figueroa

The beloved Luis A. Figueroa went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2023. He was born on September 13, 1966 to Mr. & Mrs. Filomeno Figueroa in Bridgeton, NJ.

He welcomed and raised his children in Bridgeton and is predeceased by his son, Andrew Figueroa; his father, Filomeno Figueroa and his daughter Christa Figueroa.

He is survived by his wife Abigail of 24 years, his children, Meghan, Louis, Melissa Figueroa and the children he helped to raise, Carlos W. and Adrianna M. Serrano;12 grandchildren, his mother, Ana Figueroa; brother, Nelson Saldana; his sister, Carmen Saldana, Lucy Saldana Mimbs (Cory), Maribel & Steve Dick and Lourdes Figueroa.

He served in his capacity as a Medical Technician at the Department of Veterans Affairs for 22 years and served in many ministerial leadership roles while attending First Pentecostal Church of God in Vineland and Church of God in Wilmington. He enjoyed gardening and cooking for his family. He modeled servanthood in his heart.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a service from 11:00am to 12:00pm at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Avenue, Vineland NJ 08361. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Siloam Cemetery, 550 N Valley Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
