I will miss pulling up at Tip Top with my Bichon and not seeing Rick. He always had a smile and was genuinely interested in how you were doing. I called him a dog person, meaning he knew how much the bond between you and your dog meant. I was blessed to know such a nice person who brought light into this world and loved his dogs.

Rick was a great guy! There is not enough words, sentences or expressions to explain all of what Rick Demmy was about. He was always available to give you training advice for your puppy, share his love of wood, boating.and dogs. Especially Igloo!! When ever I would drop my dog off he always had something funny to say!! You will be missed !!!!!! Love Tony Barbara Michael Cecilia DeSimone

Rick was instrumental in saving and caring for so many of the dogs through our rescue, Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary. Rick was such an easy person to speak with and get to know. He was a lovely and caring person. Everyone at Sedona Shepherd will miss Rick and we keep Pam in our hearts and prayers.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Rick's passing. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. I have known Rick since we were kid's in the '60's growing up in Dallas. We had great times together sailing and boating on Harvey's Lake. Rick's passing brings back memories of fun and hard times when he and Pam were working in Kennett Square and later in Buena. Rick, may the sun shine on your spirit and the seas be smooth and kind in your next journey.

Rick and Pam took a chance on hiring me a long time ago. Both taught me skills that I was able to put in my back pocket. More important both became long time friends. One of my favorite memories of Rick was when he was in the kennel one morning and I didn’t know it. I could smell a pipe and immediately thought of my dad. I thought my dad was there in spirit. It turned out to be Rick and his pipe. We had many laughs and many tears and years of memories. Rest well my friend!
