Dear cousin Marie and family,
We are so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful, wonderful, loving husband, Alex. He has always been a man of great honor and respect, Our hope is that you all can find comfort in knowing you were a special part of his well-lived life, with many happy memories to carry you all through this sorrowful time.
When our Lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. Memories are the legacy of love, and I am sure you all have many wonderful memories; as I know I do, of the wonderful clam sauce he and your sons would make after going for the clams, etc. The deer meat dinner at a family reunion at his hunting club, how he would always fill our car with fresh vegetables... and so many more!
You all will be in our thoughts and prayers. In fact we asked our Pastor to include Alex, you and your family in our prayers during our church service this morning and, of course, he did.
